Report Writer is a full-featured word processor with a clever new design that makes it easier to use. The formatting of every document is handled automatically by templates that can be customized and reused.

Easy to Use

Report Writer isn't cluttered with a bunch of controls. It just displays your document exactly as it will appear when you print it. All of the formatting controls are hidden until you need them.

Page preview

The pages of your report are always displayed in the preview panel at the side of the window. You always know how many pages you have written, and how each page looks. You can instantly jump to any page by clicking in the preview panel.

Templates

Each document created by Report Writer has a template that defines its fonts, styles, and layout. Sample templates are provided, and you can create new templates to suit your needs. Once you have a template that you like, you will never need to fiddle with formatting again. The template handles all those settings automatically.

Images

You can use your mouse to drag a picture from your web browser and drop it into your text. Images can be resized and moved around just by dragging them around. Your text is automatically wrapped around the picture as you move it exactly where you want it. Captions can be placed under each picture.

Spell checking

Our spell-checker steps through your text, finding words that are mispelled, highlights them, and lets you correct them quickly. It even suggests corrections from a word list that you can customize.
